Dale Rogers Training Center is seeking a reliable Shift Supervisor for custodial operations at multiple federal contract sites in Oklahoma City, OK. This role oversees custodial staff, conducts inspections, assists with training, and ensures contract standards are met.

The Evening Supervisor leads a hands-on team, supports daily operations, and contributes to high-quality service, professionalism, and accountability across all custodial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in custodial/janitorial or related fields; leadership experience welcomed.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures, cleaning techniques, equipment operation, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Strong ability to monitor quality and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving and team leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Lead Persons and Custodians at assigned contract.
• Train employees (new hires and ongoing training).
• Monitor attendance and ensure timely arrival to work sites.
• Address employee and operational issues per agency procedures.
• Participate in special events and emergency response activities as required.
• Submit payroll and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Schedule staff to meet task and frequency requirements.

Full-Time | On Site

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $23.00/hr

Position Overview

Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC) is seeking a reliable, motivated CustodialSupervisor to support custodial operations across multiple federal contract sites. This role is essential in ensuring that all assigned buildings meet contract cleaning standards while providing leadership, guidance, and support to custodial staff.

The Evening Supervisor plays a hands-on role in daily operations—conducting inspections, assisting with training, performing custodial duties when needed, and ensuring staff have the tools and direction required to succeed. This position directly contributes to DRTC’s mission by promoting high-quality service, professionalism, and accountability across all custodial projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Lead Persons and Custodians at assigned contract

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the custodial, janitorial, commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or environmental services industry strongly preferred. (Other leadership experience considered)
• Demonstrated knowledge of custodial procedures, cleaning techniques, equipment operation, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Strong ability to monitor quality, maintain performance standards, and ensure contract requirements are consistently met.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate staff, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand up to 8 hours
• Ability to walk long distances
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. vertically and 25 lbs. horizontally
• Ability to carry required weights up to 100 feet
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, and kneeling
• Ability to push, pull, drag, and move equipment
• Ability to climb up and down multiple flights of stairs
• Must maintain mobility, vision, and dexterity appropriate for custodial duties
