Supervise and administer a program of systematic cleaning and care of university facilities, in accordance with established guidelines. Perform a variety of custodial assignments, including such duties as cleaning, snow and ice removal, furniture handling, emergency response, and restorative services. Work in a variety of settings including dormitories, food service areas, administrative offices, academic buildings, and outdoors.

In lieu of the educational qualifications, candidates may qualify with equivalent professional experience at a ratio of one year of experience for each year of required education.
Ability to effectively supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate custodial staff while promoting accountability and high performance.
Ability to prioritize workloads, coordinate staff assignments, and adjust schedules to meet routine, special event, and emergency cleaning needs.
Knowledge of custodial cleaning practices, sanitation standards, floor and carpet care, and the safe operation of custodial tools and equipment.
Ability to identify operational issues, respond to changing priorities, and make sound decisions to maintain efficient custodial services.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, supervisors, campus partners, and other University stakeholders.
Ability to train employees on established procedures, assess work quality, provide constructive feedback, and address performance concerns appropriately.
Ability to follow established safety procedures, recognize potential hazards, and maintain consistent standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and facility care.
The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position: $27.03
