Job summary

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is seeking a Custodian with leadership to supervise 5–10 custodians in nightly cleaning duties across mountain and base areas. You will ensure cleanliness standards, manage supplies, and assist the manager with scheduling and coaching.

A valid driver’s license and ability to ski are required. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent guest service, with compensation based on experience and location in Steamboat Springs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous work history/education required.
• Professional cleaning experience required.
• Intermediate skiing/riding ability required.
• Operating a vehicle is an essential function with a valid Driver's License.
• Must work well under own supervision.
• Ability to adhere to safety policies.
• Read/write/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement cleaning and sanitation practices for an A+ Destination Resort experience.
• Supervise a team of 5-10 custodians in nightly cleaning duties.
• Assist Manager with scheduling, training, motivating, and coaching staff.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; report needs to Manager.
• Ensure staff follow safety policies and company procedures.
• Hands-on cleaning duties alongside staff.
