Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated individual to support the Wealth Management & Investment Services team by maintaining collateral files and mortgage loan documents. This role ensures accurate inventory processing, item labeling, and timely retrieval of materials to meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain collateral files and mortgage loan documents for Wealth Management & Investment Services.
  • Receive and prepare incoming materials for inventory and input; verify quantities and condition.
  • Maintain orderly records in Terminal Digit order; locate documents to meet deadlines.
  • Move file folders manually and keep them organized; perform inventories and resolve discrepancies.
  • Research file or document activity as needed; create and attach new labels; re-file documents promptly.
  • Process loan documents for acquisitions or sales.

Job Description

Maintains collateral files and mortgage loan documents in support of the Wealth Management & Investment Services business line. Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory, including receiving and shipping files/packages between various locations and verifying the quantity and condition of materials. Maintains orderly and accurate record of all files and related documents in Terminal Digit order. Locates requested documents and files to meet a deadline, and accommodates rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Performs manual movement of file folders of varying volumes while maintaining organization. Maintains and completes inventories as needed, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Researches file or document activity as needed. Makes new labels for files and attaches to files or matches new file folders with labels to files. Re-files all documents in a timely manner, including inserting loose documents into corresponding files already shelved. Processes loan documents that are coming in or out for an acquisition or sale.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of related experience
  • Physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 20 lbs or more; standing for long periods; able to bend or squat; willingness to climb stepladders up to 10 feet high.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Good understanding of general office procedures and clerical skills
  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers and other office equipment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collect and organize information

Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.91
