Reports to: Fr. Damien Wee

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Ensuring the campus is clean and in working order

Must be a self-starter and willing to adapt. Available on weekends and Liturgical Holy weeks/days for seasonal displays

Have access to a pick-up for hauling branches, equipment and recycling.

Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. Exhibit professional behavior and always promote positive working relationships.

Active, practicing Catholic in full communion with the Catholic Church, with a demonstrated commitment to the mission and teachings of the Church. Practice St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church values and always support the goals and the Parish Mission. Be proactive & respectful in all relationships. Always promote and project a positive & professional demeanor and attitude. Have an absence of negative temperament, no disruptive personal qualities.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

General custodial and maintenance of all areas of the buildings. Being able to assess need for supplies needed for repairs, day to day and other items, being able to work with parishioners, serving them as they volunteer their time and talents, ability to keep up with the custodial needs of the facility based on events and activities occurring at the church and education building.

Education and Experience

Previous experience working in the parish environment. Knowledge of care for boiler, air conditioner/HVAC, electrical, plumbing, custodial, customer service.
