Qualifications

• Good physical health including ability to lift 75 pounds, climb to high and difficult places and work at those places.
• Advanced boiler training and experience with boilers required.

• Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with whom one works, ability to work cooperatively and willingness to accept instructions and training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates work, schedules, and activities with afternoon shift.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repair on all building equipment.
• Maintains, operates, and checks operation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Orders and replenishes custodial and maintenance supplies for the building.
• Assists child nutrition staff during breakfast and lunch periods.
• Sweeps, dusts, arranges furniture, empties trash and pencil sharpeners, cleans chalk boards and sets up for activities.
