Custodial Assistant
Non-exempt
Support custodial operations across the historic and modern CCNY campus, including facilities such as Shepard Hall, Marshak Hall, Steinman Hall, NAC, Aaron Davis Hall, the ASRC, CDI and other instructional and research facilities. Provides cleaning activities in highly specialized environments, including teaching laboratories, research laboratories, computer facilities, public assembly areas, and performance spaces. Support campus-wide response activities during enrollment periods, commencement ceremonies, emergency events, and high-profile campus functions.
Custodial Assistants will Provide services for events on Campus (Set-up for smaller student events), also coverage for larger private events on City College's campus grounds. Essential Staff for emergencies (Flood Coverage, Snow Removal).
There are no formal education or experience requirements.
There are certain medical and physical requirements as established by University management.
New Hire Rate $39,922
Incumbent Rate $41,163
