Job summary

Mannington Mills, Inc. in Calhoun, GA seeks a Customer Service representative to provide outstanding support to customers, manage orders, check stock, and answer product questions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Objective

To ensure an exceptional customer experience by providing a high level of service and support.

Primary Functions

• Customer Communication: Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls and emails regarding order status, product availability, and general inquiries accurately.


• Order Management: May include but not limited to process and manage customer accounts, including entering orders, order status, and stock check


• Product Expertise: Develop an understanding of Manningtons flooring products (e.g., hardwood, laminate, vinyl) to provide accurate information to customers.


• Problem Resolution: Manage customer complaints, quality issues, and claims effectively, often coordinating with other departments to find local or internal solutions.


• Additional Responsibilities: Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.


• Experience: Preferred 2+ years in customer service, ideally within a manufacturing or flooring environment.


• Technical Skills: Moderate Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with SAP and Salesforce software is preferred.


• Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, professional verbal and written communication, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.


• Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule with potential for overtime as needed.
