Job summary

Leaders Furniture in Largo, FL is hiring a Sewing Machine Operator to join our Cushion Manufacturing Team. You will sew cut patterns, operate sewing machines, and follow established procedures to help produce high-quality cushions and pillows.

We offer a progressive pay scale, full benefits, 401k with employer match, paid vacations, and a schedule of four 10-hour days. Candidates with 1–2 years of high-volume sewing experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years sewing experience preferred.
• Able to operate sewing machines and follow patterns.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in the workspace.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow direction from Sewing and Finishing Team Supervisor.
• Operate various sewing machines.
• Maintain and properly use your sewing machine.
• Sew fabric for cushions and pillows according to patterns and quality standards.
• Maintain workflow by order date and prioritize rush orders.
• Inspect units for flaws or defects; ensure finish meets standards.
• Comply with all safety regulations; keep workstation neat and orderly.
