Hourly Rate: $17.75

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm

DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To use hand and other standard tools to build cushions that meet order specifications and production standards

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• *Use hand and standard tools, such as a band saw, glue gun, and trimming knives to assemble

foams and fabrics into cushions of various size, shape and style based on order specifications

• *Perform various tasks including organizing materials, cutting, gluing, assembling and packaging
• *Read and follow electronic work instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines and be aware of and adhere to all Quality requirements in the build process
• *Deliver completed cushions to Production areas as needed
• *Utilize Oracle to scan cushions into sub-inventory when delivered to Production areas
• *Utilize Kanban inventory system
• *Notify leadership of any documentation errors (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions, etc.)
• *Adhere to department guidelines and the calibration schedule for all tools in your work area
• *Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• *Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
• *Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• *Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
• *Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
• *Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• *At least 1 year of experience using hand tools and standard power tools to assemble and repair products in a manufacturing environment preferred
• *Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

PREFERRED EDUCATION

• *High School Diploma or GED preferred
