Job summary

Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO is seeking a Curriculum Development Leader to oversee the end-to-end creation of curriculum. You will guide the development from concept to production, leading writers and practitioners to weave best-practice components into materials and manage allocated budgets.

Collaborate with ministry leaders to shape curricula for assigned departments, ensuring thorough workflow and timely delivery in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in curriculum development or related field
• Five years teaching experience, preferably in more than one age group
• Two years proven experience in curriculum development
• PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development process, including conceptualization, lesson development, writing, and publishing
• Customer service skills
• General office skills

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Director of Solutions Development to implement a core curriculum strategy for resourced developed.
• Oversee the development of assigned curriculum lines from concept through production in cooperation with ministry leaders.
• Lead a team of writers and field practitioners to ensure that best-practice curriculum components are intentionally woven into assigned curriculum.
• Steward assigned budget(s) with fiscal accuracy and responsibility.
• Oversee curriculum development process, ensuring that all steps of the workflow are accounted for and assigned to the necessary persons.
• Work with national office ministry leaders to help shape and create curriculum for assigned ministry departments.
