Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Curriculum Director to lead our academy and champion excellence in every classroom. You will guide staffing, training, and teaching quality while upholding brand standards and licensing requirements.

In partnership with the Center Director, you will foster a joyful, safe, and high-performing environment, ensuring instructional quality and operational effectiveness. Strong leadership and ECE credentials are essential.

Qualifications

  • Two+ years in center leadership and people management; at least one year required.
  • Must possess state-specific Administrative or Director credential and meet guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Background screening, health and safety training completed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure center is fully staffed with well-trained teachers and maintain quality team.
  • Conduct and document monthly staff development meetings using provided content.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving using available resources.
  • Prioritize employee retention and accountability with clear feedback and coaching.
  • Address parent and staff concerns at the center level promptly and professionally.
  • Support enrollment marketing plans to drive family retention and engagement.
  • Post engaging photos and captions on social media; secure positive reviews monthly.
  • Uphold health, safety, and licensing standards; ensure brand integrity across operations.
  • Lead implementation of TLE Curriculum and Brand Integration in training and classrooms.
  • Maintain high-quality teacher-student interactions and conduct monthly observations.
  • Manage inventory and center materials aligned with budget and goals.

Role Responsibilities:
  • People
    • Support efforts to ensure the center is fully staffed with well-trained teachers.

    • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving using all available resources.

    • Promptly address and resolve parent and staff concerns at the center level.
  • Enrollment
    • Support the center’s marketing plan to drive enrollment and family retention.
    • Post engaging photos and captions on social media platforms regularly.
    • Secure positive customer reviews monthly.
    • Ensure teachers are leveraging parent communication tools effectively.
    • Support brand initiative implementation and family engagement strategies.
  • Profitability
    • Contribute to efforts that support the center’s profit margin (EBITDA) budget.
    • Remain knowledgeable about current budget goals and resource needs.
  • Standards and Quality
    • Uphold all health, safety, and licensing standards throughout the center.
    • Prioritize supervision practices and center-wide compliance with individual medical and dietary needs.
    • Proactively maintain the physical center environment to be organized, clean, and tour-ready.
    • Ensure full compliance with The Learning Experience curriculum and brand standards.
    • Demonstrate and apply working knowledge of TLE Curriculum and Brand Integration for training and classroom success.
    • Maintain high-quality teacher and student interactions.
    • Ensure student assessments are completed with quality and accuracy each assessment period.
    • Manage family conferences at least two times per year.
    • Conduct formal classroom observations monthly.
    • Replenish center materials and inventory in alignment with center budget.
    • Take initiative, operate autonomously, and make thoughtful decisions to support staff, families, and business operations.
Qualifications:
