Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into a smooth curbside pickup experience. You will quickly and accurately fulfill orders, greet customers, and coordinate with store teams to ensure on-time readiness.

No advanced technical skills required—training will be provided. The role offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and a focus on service, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized and dependable.
• Process-driven with ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide curbside pickup service with accurate order fulfillment and payment handling.
• Greet customers in person and by phone with a courteous attitude.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by coordinating with leadership.
• Follow daily workflow and fulfill orders across shifts.
• Pull store items, scan/verify products, and bag items per standards.
• Store and stage orders, following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

In short: you’ll turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.

What You Bring
