Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Curbside Express and Home Delivery Team Leader to oversee a dynamic team and ensure curbside and home delivery orders are fulfilled quickly, accurately, and with a smile.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months to 3 years of additional training.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Appraise Team Members’ productivity and efficiency for promotions or changes in status.
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints.
• Discipline Team Members.
• Plan the work.
• Distribute or assign the work among Team Members.
• Provide for safety and security of Team Members or the store.
• Manage the budget for your department or location.
• Manage inventory for your department or location; monitor compliance measures.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided to department Team Members to reduce turnover and improve efficiency.
• Provide motivational leadership to an amazing team by promoting respect and setting an exemplary example.
• Identify strengths and opportunities of the team and plan scheduling strategically.
• Develop future leaders and remember our people are our best asset.
• Nurture an environment of inclusion and diversity, giving each Team Member a voice.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of our work.
• Set and reach aggressive sales and profit goals and manage shrink.
• Establish ongoing communication with the team to keep everyone informed.
