Job summary

Whole Foods Co-Op in Hillside–Duluth, MN is seeking a Curbside Clerk (Part Time) to provide prompt, friendly service. You will shop and prepare curbside orders, assist customers, and deliver products at curbside on WFC premises.

The role requires the ability to work evenings and weekends, with a focus on accuracy, effective communication, and adherence to safety and cold-chain protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Complete curbside orders in time for the pickup window.
  • Bag, label, and store shopped orders per cold-chain protocols.
  • Interact with customers during shopping and curbside pickup.
  • Assist customers in finding products and routing calls respectfully.
  • Meet WFC customer service standards and support ENDS values.
  • Follow all WFC policies and safety practices.
  • Maintain daily operational goals and department cleanliness.
  • Report issues with systems, tools or products to management.
  • Move items to back stock or merchandise as needed.

Salary Range: $15.70 - $15.70 Hourly

Job Summary:

Curbside Clerks provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service while assisting customers and fellow staff in supporting operations. The Curbside Clerk shops, prepares for pick up, and delivers product to curbside customers on WFC premises. They may be re-tasked during any portion of a shift to assist in clerk duties elsewhere as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Navigate technology required for successful e-commerce operations.
  • Complete the shop of curbside orders in time for the designated pickup window, according to best practices and relevant SOPs within each specific position, as well as by special direction from your supervisor.
  • Bag, label, and store shopped orders in good condition according to establish cold chain protocols.
  • Interact with customers during shopping, after and/or at curbside with the highest customer service standards.
  • Assist customers in finding product and/or information, promptly and courteously answer and accurately route phone calls, messages, and customer requests in compliance with established practices.
  • Achieve WFC customer service standards for internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment to support WFC's ENDS.
Essential Organization Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Abide by all WFC policies and procedures.
  • Engage in creating and maintaining a positive, ethical, and productive workplace that contributes to achieving progress on WFC's ENDS.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all safety practices and policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidance including but not limited to Minnesota Department of Agriculture and National Organic Standards.

  • Achieve daily operational goals as directed by your supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of department areas and equipment and communicate and document any equipment maintenance and/or safety concerns to department management.
  • Report any problems with systems, tools and/or products to department supervisors.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by department management.
  • As directed, move into back stock, rotate, stage, stock and/or merchandise products in accordance with shift criteria.

Essential Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally move up to 50 lbs. throughout shift
  • Ability to frequently move objects up to 15 lbs. throughout shift
  • Ability to move around the premises
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle scanning and bagging groceries
  • Ability to operate position-required machinery
  • Ability to safely use sharp cutting instruments
