Job summary

Meijer Inc. West Lafayette, IN is seeking a part-time Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders quickly and accurately, creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish.

You will greet customers, assist with questions, and collaborate with store leadership to resolve concerns, while maintaining a clean curbside area and adhering to safety guidelines. Morning shifts begin around 5 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide curbside pickup service at the Meijer Pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
