Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with accuracy and care. You will create a smooth pickup experience by greeting customers, processing payments, and coordinating with teammates to ensure timely, correct order fulfillment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies. Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred, with training provided to build product knowledge and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• As a Digital Clerk, you will fulfill online curbside orders accurately and quickly for a smooth pickup.
• Provide courteous service at the curbside pickup area and collect payments as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Reply to questions and resolve concerns by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Follow dashboard instructions to fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify, bag items, and adhere to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders safely and keep the curbside area tidy.
• Support additional tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you'll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

In short: you'll turn online orders into easy, reliable, "right-on-time" pickups.
