Job summary

Meijer Inc. is looking for a Digital Clerk to convert online orders into smooth curbside pickups with fast, friendly service at the carside window. You will shop orders accurately, greet customers, handle payments, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the pickup area while working with store teams to ensure reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized and dependable.
• Process-driven with ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting and standing long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup.
• Fulfill Meijer Pickup orders accurately and manage payments.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items per standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you'll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup
• Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

In short: you'll turn online orders into easy, reliable, "right-on-time" pickups.

What You Bring
