Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is hiring a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into fast, accurate curbside pickup experiences. You’ll help drive loyalty by delivering friendly service and efficient order fulfillment from start to finish.

No prior experience? We train you. You’ll greet customers, scan items, bag orders, and maintain a clean curbside area while following safety guidelines. This role supports store operations and offers growth within a family-owned retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers and respond to questions in person and by phone.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you'll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

You'll:

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

In short: you'll turn online orders into easy, reliable, 'right-on-time' pickups.

What You Bring
