Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and deliver a fast, friendly pickup experience. You will greet customers, verify items, and help maintain a smooth curbside operation. The role supports teamwork across the store to resolve issues and ensure accuracy.

You’ll be trained to handle orders efficiently, assist customers with questions, and uphold safety standards while contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and a customer-first mindset.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing) for extended periods.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with courtesy in person and on the phone; respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.

What You Bring

You don’t need to know everything on day one, we’ll train you. What matters most is your service mindset and attention to detail.
