Job summary

McLain Site Solutions in Northeast Florida is seeking an experienced Concrete Curb Machine Operator to join our field crews on site development and heavy civil projects. This role involves operating curb machines, setting up equipment, following plans and maintaining curb quality with strict safety standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on curb machine experience, an understanding of line and grade, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete construction, site development or heavy civil work.
• Understanding of line, grade, elevations and basic layout.
• Knowledge of concrete placement and finishing practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete curb machine for curb and gutter work.
• Set up and adjust curb equipment per plans and specs.
• Maintain line, grade and proper elevations during pours.
• Monitor concrete consistency and finish quality.
• Coordinate with finishers, laborers and truck drivers during pours.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Read project plans and follow field instructions.
