Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas, seeks a 2027 Curatorial Spring Intern (U of A MA Student) to support exhibition development, object research, and interpretive writing across the craft collection. The role reports to the Windgate Curator of Craft and is open to University of Arkansas MA students.

This on-site internship offers hands-on experience in researching American craft, preparing labels, and contributing to programs that connect historic and contemporary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in University of Arkansas, Fayetteville MA program in Art History.
• Interest in American craft, historical to contemporary.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated research and writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Collection Research: Build object files for collection objects and prepare presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Acquisitions Research: Conduct research on potential acquisitions to support museum holdings.
• Exhibition Development: Research, interpretation, and checklist organization for future exhibitions.
