Job summary

Accenture is seeking a skilled Cúram/Java professional to design, develop, and support SAP/ Cúram components for health and human services programs in a large enterprise setting. You will translate requirements into technical designs, build SOAP services, and troubleshoot complex integrations.

The role requires experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and XML, with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable solutions. Occasional travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience developing or supporting IBM Cúram solutions.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Java development experience in large enterprise applications.
  • Minimum of 1 year designing and developing Cúram batch processes, interfaces, or financial components.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML, SOAP web services, and troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Associate's Degree with 6 years experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and support Cúram solutions for health and human services programs.
  • Translate requirements into functional/technical designs aligned with standards.
  • Develop and troubleshoot SOAP web services, XML integrations, and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
  • Analyze defects and performance issues, implement fixes across components.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, testers, and clients throughout Agile delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership via code reviews, estimation, mentoring, and best practices.
  • Support modernization while protecting service continuity and data integrity.
  • Travel may be required (0–100%).

The Work:
  • Design, develop, configure, test, and support Cúram solutions for health and human services programs. Build and maintain Java-based Cúram components, batch processes, interfaces, financial modules, and integrations with external systems.
  • Translate business and policy requirements into functional and detailed technical designs that align with established architecture and development standards.
  • Develop and troubleshoot SOAP web services, XML integrations, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, and other data exchange components.
  • Analyze complex defects, production issues, and performance concerns, and implement sustainable fixes across application, integration, batch, and database components.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, testers, and client stakeholders throughout Agile delivery, release readiness, deployment, and production support.
  • Provide technical leadership through solution reviews, code reviews, estimation, mentoring, and development best practices.
  • Support modernization efforts by helping assess dependencies between existing Cúram capabilities and new platforms while protecting service continuity and data integrity.
  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here’s what you need:
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience developing or supporting IBM Cúram solutions.
  • A minimum of 4 years of Java development experience in large enterprise applications.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience designing and developing Cúram batch processes, interfaces, web services, or financial components.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML, SOAP web services, and technical troubleshooting across integrated systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience.
  • If an Associate's Degree, 6 years of work experience.
Bonus Points If:
  • You have proficiency in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • You have experience in the Financial Services Industry, specifically Capital Markets.
