Akaasa Technologies is seeking an SDET Engineer for 100% onsite work in Cupertino, CA. The role focuses on integration and verification of third-party partner APIs implementing Apple Pay features.

You will create and execute automated API tests, build testing tools, and triage automation failures as a hands-on contributor. Requirements include 5+ years of coding in Java or Kotlin, extensive API test automation experience, and a BS/MS in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding experience in Java or Kotlin (5+ years).
• 5+ years creating API automated tests for REST APIs.
• 5+ years building automated server test cases and maintaining test suites.
• Degree in Computer Engineering (BS/MS) or equivalent experience.
• Local to Cupertino, CA, ready to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute automated API server tests for third-party partner APIs implementing Apple Pay features.
• Define comprehensive test coverage for new features and maintain automated server test cases.
• Contribute to end-to-end design and development of internal testing tools.
• Triaging automation failures and diagnosing complex backend systems to drive quick resolutions.
• Communicate work status and project progress to stakeholders with clarity.
