Bachelor's degree with archaeology-focused coursework including field school and regional archaeology.
Three years of graduate-level education toward a Ph.D. in archaeology/anthropology/history acceptable in lieu of experience.
Four years of archaeology work experience including field survey, excavation, lab analysis, and report writing.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and assistance to field personnel and technical teams on cultural resources across NRCS programs.
Ensure compliance with cultural resources laws and policies in NRCS activities; address Native American issues as needed.
Coordinate with leadership and agency officials on conservation planning and cultural resource projects.
