Job summary

Cannex Capital Group Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Cultivation Flowering Associate to join our cultivation team.

You will work closely with Flowering Supervisors and Managers to nurture plants from growth through harvest, rotating through transplanting, pruning, trellising, IPM, harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, and waste disposal in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • 21+ and residing in the USA.
• Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card obtained on hire.
• 1+ year of horticulture, agriculture, or production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience is a bonus; willing to train.
• Basic math, computer, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and process‑driven approach.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Desire to learn, collaborate, and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily plant inspections for pests, pathogens, mold, and other concerns.
• Execute plant care processes: pruning, trellising, harvesting, trimming, drying, and curing according to protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance across growth and harvest stages.
• Keep work area clean and organized; maintain logs relevant to the role.
• Assist with additional tasks to keep the team and department running smoothly.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Conduct daily plant inspections, watching for pests, pathogens, mold, fungi, or other concerns
• Execute plant care processes — pruning, moving, trellising, harvesting, trimming, drying, and curing — in line with company protocols
• Perform routine plant maintenance across all stages of the growth and harvest cycle
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and ready for the next task
• Maintain accurate logs relevant to your role
• Pitch in on additional tasks that keep the team and department running smoothly

AVAILABILITY

• Full shift availability necessary
• Shift is 7 AM to 3:30 PM, occasional weekend and holiday flexibility needed

Compensation

Starting at $18/hr

What You'll Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED
• 21+ and currently residing in the USA
• Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtainable upon hire and we'll help you through it)
• 1+ year of horticulture, agriculture, or production/manufacturing experience (preferred, not required)
• Cannabis industry experience (a bonus, but we're happy to teach!)
• Basic math, computer, and organizational skills
• A sharp eye for detail and a love of process-driven work
• Strong communication and time management skills
• A genuine desire to learn, collaborate, and grow with the team

WORK CONDITIONS

You'll work in a clean, professional indoor cultivation environment using tools like pruning scissors and sanitation equipment. PPE is provided on-site when needed. Expect a range of physical activity throughout your shift — standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, and squatting. The environment has temperatures and humidity levels typical of indoor grow facilities, along with ambient noise from fans and motors, and plant pollen in the air.

• NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
