Sodexo is seeking a Culinary Supervisor at ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY in Minnesota. This full-time role leads daily food production, coordinates kitchen operations, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will supervise staff, monitor production, and support chefs in meeting service requirements. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in culinary leadership, experience with high-volume operations, and food safety certifications such as ServSafe.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on supervision of daily food production and kitchen operations to ensure quality and safety.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of culinary experience; prior lead cook/kitchen leadership preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume, multi-outlet, or event-based culinary operations preferred.
  • Ability to read/execute production sheets and event orders; read prep lists.
  • Food handler or food safety certification required where applicable; ServSafe Manager certification preferred where applicable.

This position serves as the primary working supervisor above Senior Cooks and supports Sous Chefs and Executive Chefs in executing production plans and service requirements.This role coordinates culinary staff, monitors production schedules, enforces standardized recipes and portion controls, and maintains safe and efficient kitchen operations. The Culinary Supervisor actively participates in food preparation while directing workflow and reinforcing operational standards.
