Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Culinary Supervisor at MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY – SCHROEDER HALL. The role involves coordinating routine food service activities, supervising on-site staff, and ensuring a safe work environment while delivering quality service across fast casual, cafeterias, events, and cafes.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in supervision, a team-oriented mindset, and adaptability. The position offers full-time hours with mornings shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Workdays/shifts: Mornings - varying days. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00

What You’ll Do:

As a Culinary Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
