Job summary

SodexoMagic is hiring a Culinary Supervisor near Wayne State University. This full-time role oversees food operations, coordinates service staff, and supports management on-site. You will help ensure quality, service and safety while supporting a positive work environment.

We value teamwork, reliability and adaptability; prior supervisory experience preferred. Open availability is appreciated to cover varied shifts and business needs.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $26.00 per hour - $30.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Culinary Supervisor at SodexoMagic, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
