Job summary

The Wellington at Conroe is seeking a Culinary Service Assistant to serve residents and guests in the dining room and assist in meal preparation and setup, following established procedures.

You will help maintain sanitation standards, support timely service, and contribute to a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents in a premier Sonida Senior Living community in Conroe, TX.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests in the dining room following established procedures.
• Assist in drink and food preparation and setup, including cleanup and resetting dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock in common area refreshment centers.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards to comply with regulations.
• Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities to ensure efficient dining service.

Culinary Service AssistantResponsibilities include:

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

Qualifications:

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred
