Job summary

The Waterford at Baytown, a Sonida Senior Living community, is hiring a Culinary Services Assistant to serve residents in the dining room and support kitchen operations. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a premier retirement community.

Responsibilities include taking care of dining room service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards to comply with regulations.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Prepares and serves snacks; replenishes stock in common area refreshment centers for residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.
