Sonida Senior Living in Batesville, IN invites you to join as a Culinary Services Assistant. This on-site, part-time role focuses on creating a welcoming dining experience for residents, with attention to safety and sanitation and dependable teamwork.

You will assist in food preparation, serve meals in the dining room, replenish stock, and maintain cleanliness while following state regulations. A Food Service Sanitation Certificate is required, and a HS diploma or GED is preferred; 18+ years old

Formación

• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team, and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assist in drink and food preparation for the residents and perform assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required
• Required license/certification, if applicable
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• High Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing
• Must be 18 years of age or older
