Job summary

Morrison Living is seeking a culinary professional to support training initiatives, food programs, and events with account Chefs and team members. The role emphasizes high standards in food safety, cost control, and local sourcing to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or four-year culinary development experience.
• 3 years of relevant culinary experience with at least 1 year in culinary management.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Working knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high standards for all Food Programs, workplace safety and food safety.
• Demonstrates proficiency in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with local sourcing focus.
• Applies knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This individual will be responsible for assisting in training initiatives, food programs, special events, account openings and refreshes with account Chefs and team members.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains high standards for all implemented Food Programs, workplace safety and food safety
• Demonstrates proficiency in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food production.
• Utilizes knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Culinary Degree, or comparable four year culinary development experience
• 3 years of relevant culinary experience; At least one year of culinary management experience
• ServSafe Certification
• Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
