Job summary

The Cook position at Distinctive Living's Twinbrook Assisted Living in Louisville, KY, is a full-time day shift on Saturday through Tuesday. You will work under the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality, preparing meals that meet nutritional and special-diet requirements and ensuring quality service in the dining room.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, proper storage, and teamwork to deliver positive resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality with planning and coaching in the Food Service Department.
• Follows the Menu Program meeting nutritional requirements and special diets.
• Maintains food temperatures and safe handling practices.
• Ensures resident satisfaction by delivering quality meals and service.
• Keeps kitchen clean and safe, and ensures safe operation of equipment.
