Snap Custom Pizza is seeking Culinary Trainees to work in the kitchen at our Newark store. You will help prepare dough, cheese, sauces, and toppings, and ensure proper storage and FIFO practices while delivering quality pizzas and salads to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough, cheese, sauces, and pizza toppings using preparation guidelines and proper portioning tools.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored and dated properly.
• Adhere to food safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ensure the quality of the ingredients we use following a FIFO standard.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of each product.
• Monitor inventory and place food orders as necessary.

Compensation

• $15 per hour
• Plus TIPS

Responsibilities:

• Prepare dough, cheese, sauces, and pizza toppings using preparation guidelines and proper portioning tools

In the 199s, Peter Howey & Aaron Nocks were experimenting with homemade pizza in their kitchen with no pretense other than making great pizzas for themselves and the Villanova rowing team. They fell in love with the art of pizza making. A lot of hard work and a few years later, Snap Custom Pizza was founded on the same ideals that started in the kitchen; We use fresh, quality ingredients just like you would at home. We make everything from scratch and are constantly developing new pizza recipes.
