Job summary

Silver Dollar City Resort in Branson West, MO seeks an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team across dining rooms, banquets, catering, in-room dining, bar/lounge, and events. You will own menu development and drive profitability while mentoring staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires seven+ years at senior level in resort/hotel operations, opening-hotel experience is a plus, and proficiency with Micros POS, Hotel Effectiveness, and Crunchtime.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of executive chef or executive sous chef experience in a high-volume, high-end resort/hotel with 200+ rooms and multiple outlets.
• Two (2) or more years in banquet chef roles at medium to high-volume resort properties.
• Formal culinary training; Bachelor/Associate degree or ACF certification preferred.
• Deep knowledge of cuisine and modern American cooking techniques.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, team-building, communication and organizational skills.
• Opening hotel experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary team across dining rooms, banquets, catering, in-room dining, and events.
• Mentor and develop Hosts; model high food/beverage standards.
• Improve guest satisfaction and financial results through exceptional dining experiences.
• Own menu concept development and coordinate procurement with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and compliance across the kitchen.
• Oversee events, banquets and special occasions from planning to execution.
