Lunch-Bunch is seeking an Level 1 Enrichment Teacher to facilitate hands-on culinary-based enrichment programs for students after school. You will collaborate with other teachers, review lesson plans, and support activities in a cooking-centered learning environment.

This role emphasizes reliability, initiative, and the ability to manage groups of children with energy and adaptability, while following safety and training protocols. Background checks and TB clearance are required.

• Manage student behavior, engagement, and classroom flow
• Teach and reinforce kitchen safety and basic cooking skills
• Report in-class incidents promptly using incident reports
• Submit feedback after each class

Position Description:

The Level 1 Enrichment Teacher collaborates with other Teachers to implement and manage culinary-based educational enrichment programs and cooking classes. This role involves supporting instructional activities, preparing materials, and providing individualized attention to students to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment centered around cooking and culinary arts. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, education majors, youth program leaders, camp counselors, coaches, and individuals who enjoy helping children learn through hands‑on experiences.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a leadership, instructional, or support role
• Ability to effectively manage and engage a group of students in an active, hands‑on environment

Schedule Requirements:

• Availability during after‑school hours (typically between 2:00 PM–6:00 PM)
• Class length varies from 2 hours to 6 hours a day, depending on location
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule throughout the semester
• We work with school and schedules change with seasonality
• Ability to review lesson plans and training materials prior to classes

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift classroom supplies and equipment up to 35 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with students throughout class sessions

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Experience working with children in a classroom, camp, enrichment, or youth program setting
• Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or leading groups
• Culinary, food service, or food handling experience
• CPR and/or First Aid certification

Compensation & Growth:

• $20/ Hour
• Opportunities for advancement to Level II and Level III Teacher positions based on performance and readiness
