Taste Buds Kitchen in Smithtown, NY, seeks a high-energy Culinary Cooking Class Instructor to lead fun classes for kids, families, and adults. You will inspire guests, teach diverse cooking skills, and ensure a memorable kitchen studio experience.

Join a brand-new studio with flexible event-based scheduling and opportunities to grow within the company. CPR certification and comfort speaking to groups are required.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Natural curiosity and passion for food and culinary entertainment
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in a range of cooking and baking techniques
• Confident speaking in front of groups with an amplified voice
• Minimum of one year of experience entertaining kids and/or adults
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds
• CPR certified

Responsibilities

• Instruct cooking classes, camps, and parties for ages 2-99.
• Engage and teach guests various cooking and baking skills related to the class menu.
• Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guests.
• Interact with all guests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work solo or manage and supervise a team of culinary assistants for larger events.
• Set up before class and clean up after.
• Maintain a controlled, clean environment, providing first aid/CPR treatment if needed.
