Grove Brunch Cafe is seeking a Kitchen Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will set up workstations with ingredients and equipment, prepare items for cooking, and help ensure quality in every dish.

Cook with various utensils or grillers, present plates well, keep the kitchen sanitized, check ingredient quality, and monitor stock to prevent shortages, all while following health protocols. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow your culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Follow all health inspection protocols and procedures
