Job summary

Monte Nido Rosewood Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ, is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant to support meal preparation and service for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and teamwork within our holistic eating disorder treatment program. CPR/BLS and Arizona food handler requirements apply, with training arranged if needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• High School Diploma, preferred but not required.
• Prior experience preferred; willingness to learn portioning and serving.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation practices.
• CPR/BLS certification required before start; training available.
• Arizona DPS fingerprint card required.
• Arizona food handler’s card within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assist in planning and preparation of future meals.
• Follow approved dietary manual for food prep and leftovers storage.
• Use dish machine and three-compartment sink properly.

Responsibilities Include:

The Culinary Assistant's major responsibility is to assist with the preparation and serving of facility meals while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation, washing and storing of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils and also stocking and cleaning required areas.

• Prepare and serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff.

• Understand and use the approved dietary manual in food preparation and storage of leftovers.
• Understand and use dish machine and three-compartment sink properly.
• Communicate appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff.
