Avamere Rehab of Coos Bay in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide to support residents with meals, follow dietary needs, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety throughout shifts. Responsibilities include preparing, serving trays at proper temperatures, assisting with inventory, and complying with facility policies, state rules, and ongoing training under the Culinary Services Manager.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail for tray setup, portion control, and sanitizing.
• Knowledge of high standards for food service sanitation and safety.
• Active CPR/BLS certification maintained throughout employment.
• Current Food Handlers card as issued by local health department.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals according to dietary needs.
• Serves meals on trays at proper temperature and presentation.
• Verifies tray accuracy and places on the cart.
• Fills orders for between-meal nourishments as assigned.
• Assists in cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and floors.
• Follows facility policies, sanitary and safety regulations and participates in training.
