Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide at Clark Rehab and Skilled Nursing. You will assist with meal preparation and service, helping ensure residents receive nutritious and delicious meals in a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with culinary leaders, adherence to menu and diet requirements, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout shifts. Part-time hours are available, with opportunities to contribute to resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Commitment to customer service required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portions of meal items according to menu and diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.

Join the ASC Team as a Culinary Aide where you will contribute to ensuring our residents receive safe, nutritious and delicious meals by assisting with meal prep and service and helping to maintain a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Server include:

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience.
• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders.
