Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide for Edgewater Woods to assist with meal prep, service and kitchen cleanliness, ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious meals. You will support diet-specific preparations and help maintain a sanitary workspace.

This day-shift role includes weekend coverage on occasion and requires teamwork with culinary leaders and staff to meet resident needs and deliver a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal prep and portions according to menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace; assist with cleaning equipment as needed.

Now Hiring Part-Time Day Shift with E/O Weekend Culinary Aides

Join the ASC Team as a Culinary Aide where you will contribute to ensuring our residents receive safe, nutritious and delicious meals by assisting with meal prep and service and helping to maintain a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Server include:

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
