Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA. You will perform clerical and secretarial duties to help the organization run efficiently, with responsibilities including answering phones, managing documents, coordinating meetings, and processing invoices.

The role requires two or three years of relevant experience, strong MS Office and communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clerical duties: review mail, make copies, and mail letters.
• Oversee vendor appointments, office maintenance, and environmental upkeep for offices.
• Assist in health department preparation and scheduling pieces.

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for performing clerical and secretary duties to help the organization run efficiently.

$34.00 - $34.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Complete daily tasks, including answering phones and emails, screening callers, and managing documents
• Provide basic administrative support, including coordinating activities and meetings, preparing expense reports, purchasing product, processing invoices, and contacting team members
• Perform routine clerical duties, such as reviewing mail, making copies, and mailing letters
• Oversee vendor appointments, maintenance, and environmental upkeep for offices
• Assist in health department preparation and scheduling pieces

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Three years of experience in food service including office administrative experience required
• Previous supervisory experience including scheduling staff and purchasing product required
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Computer knowledge including full working knowledge of MS Office applications, Internet, email, and superior keyboard skills
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages
• Intermediate computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, database, and e-mail required
• Superior organization, exceptional communication and leadership skills required.
• Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to guests and other associates of the company
• Strong proofreading abilities
• Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the guest’s goodwill
