You will provide companionship, monitor wellbeing, and support housekeeping and safe medication handling as needed. Training is available for those new to the field, with a focus on humane, dignified elder care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred.
• First aid and CPR-certified.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, housekeeping, cooking, exercising, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

This position is working at a home that's converted to use as an Assisted Living Facility or group home for elderly people. As such, it's different than a large, impersonal institution, and is more like staying with your own family's elders (aunts, uncles, father/mother-in-law) all in one home together. It's more like one big happy, healthy family. Angel House focuses on five things essential to human health and well-being at any and every age. Those are Hydration, Sunlight, Nutrition, Exercise and Meaningful Engagement. And it just works beautifully!
