Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessments and maintain care plans and quarterly progress notes; update the Recreation section of the MDS as required.
• May drive the facility van for outings and related needs; transport residents and gather supplies.
• Report any driving-related violations to the Director of Therapeutic Recreation for eligibility review.
• Maintain knowledge of TR standards, regulations, and practices; stay current with TR trends and continuing education.
• Demonstrate commitment to advancing TR services to improve residents' rights and quality of care.
