Job summary
MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group seeks a hands-on Chief Technology Officer for a Virginia-based communications company serving commercial and government customers. Qualifications
- Telephony expertise is mandatory and includes secure voice background.
- 10+ years in telecommunications and network engineering.
- 7+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and large projects.
- Solid IP networking, VoIP and cybersecurity knowledge.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Translate goals into engineering roadmaps and manage deployment.
- Lead daily engineering operations with resource, milestones, and budget focus.
- Oversee cybersecurity work to harden mission-critical platforms.
- Remain hands-on in telephony, VoIP, and IP networking decisions.
- Coach, manage performance, and attract top engineering talent.
- Partner with executives on strategy for managed services and public safety testing.
