YES Prep Public Schools is hiring a CTE Specialist focused on Visual Technology in Houston. The role shapes Career and Technical Education across the district, designing engaging curricula and assessments for Digital Media, Graphic Design, and related pathways.

The position emphasizes data-driven planning, collaboration with the Instructional Technology team, and leadership in expanding CTE access district-wide. Immediate start, 12-month term, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution and have teaching experience in grades 6-12.
• Experience designing or writing curriculum for middle/high school and project-based learning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and instructional technology tools (LMS, Nearpod, Canva).
• Familiarity with digital design software and visual storytelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, project-based curriculum for CTE and instructional technology courses.
• Create and align unit plans and instructional materials for CTE pathways.
• Collaborate with leaders to align CTE courses with CCMR goals and funding.
• Develop assessments and data workflows to monitor student achievement and inform instruction.
