Job summary

Hoke County Schools is seeking a dedicated CTE Teacher for Career Exploration at Sandy Grove Middle School in Lumber Bridge, North Carolina. This full-time, 10-month position follows the NC State Salary Schedule and reports to the designated principal.

Starting on or around August 10, 2026, the teacher will implement an approved curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to support student achievement while maintaining a positive, safe classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to obtain North Carolina Teacher License (or meet Residency Teacher License requirements).

Responsibilities

• Direct growth and development of pupils and manage the classroom to support learning objectives.
• Plan instructional programs aligned with the curriculum and student needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Perform non-instructional duties as assigned to support school operations.
• Ensure safe, orderly, and respectful school climate in all activities.
