Job summary

The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center has an immediate vacancy for a 10-Month Assistant Principal. The role supports daily operations of Career & Technical programs, including cooperative education, attendance, grading, discipline, and curriculum alignment with state standards.

Salary ranges from $77,573.19 to $93,088.15 annually based on experience and education; schedule is Monday–Friday with some weekends/evenings. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Director's Certification or Pennsylvania Secondary School Principal Certification or eligible for Principal Alternative Route.
• Cooperative Education Certification or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CTE preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, FBI) within one year of start; TB test/physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the principal in overseeing daily operations of Career & Technical programs, including cooperative education documentation and compliance with student and employer policies.
• Oversee student attendance, grading, progress reporting, discipline, staff evaluation, curriculum alignment to state/national standards, budget management, and advisory committees.
• Coordinate student organizations, annual calendar, budget support, and cross-campus advisor meetings; promote school spirit and student recognition.
